MINDFUL MAY | MINDFULNESS & ABUNDANT LIVING:
At Brighton Yoga Center, we believe that an abundant life doesn’t start with what you own—it begins with how you *think*. When you practice mindfulness, you open the door to a life that feels rich, grounded, and deeply fulfilling.
So what does it mean to live mindfully, and how does that lead to abundance?
It starts the moment you wake up. Instead of rushing into the day, take a breath and *set an intention*. Not just a to-do list, but a feeling you want to carry—peace, joy, courage. This simple shift helps you move through your day with clarity, rather than chaos.
Mindfulness also transforms how we speak to ourselves. Instead of saying “I want peace” or “I want confidence,” try saying “I *have* peace” or “I *have* confidence.” This small but powerful change invites abundance into your present moment, instead of keeping it just out of reach.
Setting goals is important, but when they're rooted in growth rather than perfection, they become tools for expansion, not pressure. Mindfulness helps us check in with ourselves—Are we aligning with our values? Are we growing in a way that feels true to who we are?
And finally, end your day with gratitude. No matter how small, noticing what went *right* shifts your mindset from scarcity to sufficiency. Gratitude reminds us that we are already living in abundance, even as we strive for more.
All of these practices—intentional mornings, present-tense affirmations, mindful growth, and evening gratitude—are anchored in one thing: *presence*. Mindfulness is the key that unlocks an abundant life, because it helps us fully experience the beauty, the growth, and the richness of the *now*.

Starting May 1st, qualifying clients can purchase the following packages:

30 DAYS OF MINDFUL MOMENTS: MAY MENTAL HEALTH CHALLENGE!
At Brighton Yoga Center, we believe your mental health is just as important as your physical wellbeing. We want to support you always, but also want to emphasize your wellness during the month of May, Mental Health Awareness Month!
Instead of aiming for a daily practice that may not be practical with the demands of life, this challenge's goal of 3x/ week strives to make a consistent practice an attainable habit for overall health, physical and mental.
Participate in the challenge and commit to 31 days of personal mindfulness and wellness:
1. Sign up to register for the challenge, it's free!
2. Make it a goal to practice in the studio 3x/ week for the month of May. Each visit will count towards an entry into our raffle at the end of the month for a chance to win a free month of unlimited yoga! Take a photo of you practicing at the studio and upload it to your socials and tag us in it for an extra entry!
3.Grab a calendar at the front desk and use it for inspiration to do something for yourself each day.
4. Follow us on socials for weekly journal prompts each Sunday through the month of May.
The more classes you take, the more times your name will be entered into the drawing. (The winner will be announced and notified on June 1, 2025).

ROOT TO RISE: YOGA BEYOND THE ASANA

Dive into the deeper dimensions of yoga beyond the physical postures by exploring its rich philosophical roots with Andi Clothier.
This class weaves together movement, breathwork, and meditation with teachings from classical yogic texts. Through mindful practice and reflection, we will explore concepts like the Eight Limbs of Yoga, mindfulness, non-attachment, and self-awareness, fostering a more intentional and meaningful approach to yoga both on and off the mat.
Suitable for all levels, this class invites you to experience yoga as a path of self-discovery and transformation.

Join Yoga instructor, Amanda Drangin at Brighton Yoga Center and Town to Trail for a fun social evening to kick off your weekend. We’ll start at Brighton Yoga Center for a fun, functional movement flow for inspiration as we move into the summer months. Stay limber so you can stay active as you hike, camp, bike, ALL THE THINGS! After yoga, we’ll mosey on over to Town to Trail to grab a drink at the bar, talk about our summer plans and shop with a special discount just for the evening on apparel!
No yoga experience necessary!

STAYCATION | DAY RETREAT

A ONE DAY STAYCATION, CAREFULLY CURATED TO HIT THE RESTART BUTTON FOR THE SEASON AHEAD!
Join Brighton Yoga Center teachers, Leanne Molnar, Coco Keehl, Amanda Drangin and special guest Kris Hammoud, for a one day retreat hosted on one of Michigan's beautiful inland lakes, Whitmore Lake! Located in Whitmore Lake, just a quick drive south of Brighton, we will retreat at a cozy lake house for the day spending time participating in yoga, breathwork, journaling, grounding with outdoor activities and free time, optional massage, sound bath and so much more.
What's Included: BRUNCH, LUNCH, AND DINNER. SNACKS AND DRINKS THROUGHOUT THE DAY. CAREFULLY CURATED WELCOME BAG. GUIDED YOGA AND BREATHWORK CLASSES. INFORMATIONAL CLASSES. SOUND BATH. OPENING AND CLOSING CERIMONIAL TEA CREATED JUST FOR US!
